The student movement began with demonstrations in the late 60s and would lead to revolutionary changes in whole Europe.

Movies like ?Taxi Driver? and ?The Godfather? set new standards on the entertainment field. Rock music captured the whole World and more and more bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Crosby and Genesis followed the path, which the Beatles had laid.

Vespa, as they had always done in the company history, did not follow any trend, but created one themselves. This attitude was the key to success, because not only young people love revolutionary ideas and products.

The Vespa Special and Vespa Primavera became icons of an entire generation, who strived for a change in the World for the next decades. Compact, quick, dynamic and sporty handling, those were the characteristics of these models and many young people and many who were young at heart were excited about this.
