We were not quite wrong with our statement during the presentation of the Simoncelli model by Minichamps a fewdays ago. It seems that Minichamps´philosophy is more and more determined by finacial aspects. Only little passion is left.

We got the information that MC has cancelled the production of the following models:

122103005 - Yamaha YZR-M1 Colin Edwards - 2010

122103011 - Yamaha YZR-M1 Ben Spies - 2010

122162200 - Suzuki GSX-R 750 - 1985

122606001 - MV Agusta 500 John Surtees - 1960

122951503 - Honda RC45 Joey Dunlop - 1995

I cannot follow the cancellation of the two Yamahas. The Rossi 2010 Yamaha will be produced, the tools exist and MC has only to do some small changes.

The cancellation of the other three models is painful.

The GSX-R is a milestone in bike production.

Surtees and the MV four cylinder have earnt it.

For me most angry is the fact, that there is no model (RC45) which is dedicated to the unforgotten Joey Dunlop.

What a pity, what a shame!!!!
